As the HSE Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and implementing safety and environmental practices throughout the PKN Orlen Expansion Project. Working closely with various stakeholders, you will be responsible for promoting a culture of safety, identifying potential hazards, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Your expertise and leadership will be instrumental in maintaining a safe working environment for all employees and contractors involved in the project.

 Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.

· Proven experience (at least 3 years) as an HSE Manager or a similar role in a large-scale construction or industrial project.

· In-depth knowledge of Polish HSE regulations, standards, and best practices.

· Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others towards a safety-first mindset.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.

· Analytical mindset with the ability to identify risks and implement appropriate control measures.

· Certifications in relevant HSE disciplines (e.g., NEBOSH, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001) will be advantageous.

· Proficiency in both Polish and English languages.


RESPONSIBILITIES

· Develop and implement comprehensive HSE policies and procedures in line with local regulations and international best practices.

· Conduct regular risk assessments and inspections to identify potential hazards, ensuring timely corrective actions are taken.

· Collaborate with project management and other departments to integrate HSE considerations into all project planning and execution phases.

· Provide HSE training and inductions to employees, contractors, and visitors to promote a strong safety culture.

· Investigate incidents and accidents, preparing detailed reports and recommending preventive measures to avoid reoccurrence.

· Monitor the effectiveness of HSE initiatives and KPIs, making data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.

· Liaise with regulatory authorities and external agencies to ensure compliance with all relevant HSE laws and regulations.

· Maintain accurate records of all HSE-related activities and prepare regular progress reports for management review.

· Conduct emergency preparedness drills and exercises, ensuring all personnel are aware of emergency response procedures.

· Promote environmental sustainability practices, minimizing the project's impact on the environment.

· Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements in HSE to enhance the project's safety performance.
